The HUB International El Paso insurance office, formerly known as JDW Insurance, has roots in the El Paso community dating back to 1898. The firm has a rich, 120+ year history serving our constituents in El Paso, Ciudad Juarez, and Southern New Mexico as well as several large national and international corporations.
In September of 2012, JDW partnered with HUB International. We chose HUB not only because of their geographic reach and unparalleled resources, but also because HUB has a unique culture which values local relationships and decision making. Too often large brokers make acquisitions which are purely financial and not strategic. They can disappear from the community in the way of involvement and philanthropy in an effort to reduce expenses and boost short-term profitability. For JDW/Hub El Paso, it was critical that we maintained our good people as well as the flexibility and local control necessary to continue to invest and give back to the community which has blessed us with significant growth over our 120+ year history.
We employ over 65 people with an average tenure of over 20 years with the company. HUB has several specialty divisions in the El Paso office, includING Commercial Lines, Contract Surety, Employee Benefits Consulting, Retirement Plan Consulting & Private Wealth Management, Small Business Commercial, and Personal Lines/Private Client. Our Commercial Lines and 360 Small Business Divisions provide risk management, risk financing/insurance placement, claims management, and safety & loss control services for clients in various industries to include construction, manufacturing, healthcare, human services, real estate, defense-based contracting, and professional service to name only a few.
Our Employee Benefits Consulting Division provides health insurance, voluntary benefits, life insurance, and retirement planning services to employers of all sizes with a specialized focus on healthcare compliance, employee retention, and employee productivity.
Our Personal Lines/Private Client Division assists individuals with the personal insurance needs to include homeowners, automobile, umbrella and insurance for high-valued personal articles like jewelry and fine art.
