Johnston Lewis was formed in 1949 by Don Johnston and Charlie Lewis. Their idea was simple. Serve the community, keep a great reputation and success would follow from customers who share your values. Essentially JLA Insurance Group is still considered a Generalist. But our agency has evolved over the past 74 years by adding other partners and producers while concentrating on the following industries: Transportation, Contracting and Real Estate.

Established in 1949, Johnston Lewis Associates, also known as JLA Insurance Group, is an elite Independent Insurance Agency serving the needs of individuals, families, businesses, and the community both locally and nationally for Insurance, Employee Benefits, and Human Resource Servicing needs.

We pride ourselves to continuously expand and refine our process to better serve those clients who have selected us as their partner. Most of our team members have achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor or similar service designations proving dedication to an excellent client experience.
