Our agency began in 1905 as Vanderboom Land Agency. In 1909 the name changed to Vanderboom & Brink Land Office. In 1923 G.E. (Buster) Vanderboom joined the business and changed the name to Vanderboom Insurance Agency. It operated this way until 1980 when the agency became First Insurance, Inc. Since then our name has changed to Community First Insurance, BW Insurance and now Hub International - Platte Insurance Office. As an independent agency, we have access to a wide variety of companies to provide the best products to fit our customer’s needs. We continue to provide courteous, professional advice and service to our customers which has been our agency’s reputation for over 100 years. Our name has changed, our commitment to customers has not!
